WP1 Management

 WP1 aims to manage the project, coordinate the activities of WPs, monitor the progress and budget spending, anticipate the risks and take corrective measures.

WP2 Analyses of molecular biomarkers in non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) patients in Serbia
Major goals of the WP2 are the evaluation of the significance of molecular biomarkers in Serbian NSCLC patients, their frequency of occurrence and associations with common demographic data, clinicopathological parameters, and response to therapy; and providing recommendations for their potential implementation in routine clinical diagnostic practice in Serbia, for all NSCLC patients or particular subgroups.

WP3 Prediction of non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) patients' multidrug-resistant (MDR) profile after tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) treatment
WP3 will contribute to the development of a fluorescence immunoassay for high-throughput discrimination of cancer and stromal cells in NSCLC patient-derived cell cultures and evaluation of their MDR profile. Besides, WP3 will investigate the effect of TKIs on MDR development in NSCLC patient-derived cells.

WP4 Prediction of non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) patients' response to tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) based on functional diagnostics approach

WP4’s goals are to investigate the efficacy of TKIs against NSCLC patient-derived cells and to propose which of TKIs are the most reasonable to introduce in clinical practice for Serbian NSCLC patients.

WP5 Dissemination

TargetedResponse concept and results will be disseminated through social media, participation in the international conferences, publishing peer-reviewed articles and recommendations, and organizing a workshop and a webinar.
