The RS Science Fund visits the Institute for Biological Research “Siniša Stanković”
Representatives of the Science Fund, together with experts from the World Bank for ethics and environmental protection, conducted a supervisory visit to the research team of the TargetedResponse project, led by Dr. Milica Pešić. On this occasion, PI and members of the project team presented the results so far, purchased equipment and consumables that were planned in the project budget, as well as plans and goals for the next period.

Serbian Cancer Research Society (SDIR6) – “From collaboration to innovation in cancer research”
We want to share with you the amazing experience we had at the sixth congress of the Serbian Cancer Research Society (SDIR6)!🌟
At the conference “From collaboration to innovation in cancer research”, a member of the TargetedResponse team, Sofija Jovanović Stojanov, participated as a guest lecturer and presented the project and the results.
The SDIR team did a great job organizing the event. We exchanged not only knowledge, but also great moments of socializing and bonding. Excellent experts from various fields appeared, sharing the latest trends and research. The discussions were colorful, the panels were interactive, and the lectures were inspiring.

EACR 2023 Congress: Innovative Cancer Science
Our colleague, Ana Stepanović, rocked the stage at the EACR 2023 Congress: Innovative Cancer Science, presenting results from our TargetedResponse project! The 2023 Annual Congress of the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR 2023) is a four day congress held in Turin (Italy), dedicated to basic, preclinical and translational cancer research across a wide breadth of topics.
We’re proud to have Ana Stepanović to represent our team.
ESMO Targeted Anticancer Therapies Congress 2023
Team member Dr. Sofija Jovanović Stojanov presented the results of the #TargetedResponse project during the conference “ESMO Targeted Anticancer Therapies Congress 2023”, which was held in the period from March 6th to 8th, in Paris, France.
The results have summed up all the hard work in the past year since the beginning of the TargetedResponse project.

We validated the labeling of tumor cells with antibodies for multidrug resistance transporters (ABCB1, ABCC1, and ABCG2) in combination with anti-cytokeratin 8/18 antibody.
